policy for accepting new members/packages
Hi all,
I talked to two guys during debconf who were working on gnome-related
packages and suggested to them that they would join the gnome team.
damog is maintaining gxmms and Gustavo Montesino e working on gnome-jabber.
I asked them to contact seb128, who I think is the guy with powers to
add people to the alioth project, and I think Gustavo has already
commited gnome-jabber to the svn, and I don't know what is damog's
status.
What I would like to propose is that we should start thinking about
a policy for accepting new members and packages. One of the reasons
for the gnome team to be succesful 'till now is its openes and
that participating is easy, but I am afraid the project may
grow too big.
What do you people think?
Thanks,
