Hi Randolph Chung,
my name is Boris and I am a big fan of Debian. I just updated my system and i
couldn't update libstdc++2.10-dev because of the already reported bug
#215813. I think that you've already found the solution but in case you
haven't i thought i should write you :) It is straightforward typo - the
postinst script in /var/lib/dpkg/info updates the info file nodes with
install-info and as an argument has the file /usr/share/info/
iostream-2.95.info.gz. However, the file in the info directory is called:
/usr/share/info/iostream-295.info.gz so the dot between 2 and 95 has to go.
Regards,
Boris.
