Updated info on bridging+firewall?

Has anyone located any more recent info on applying the bridging
firewall technique in the mini-howto written for 2.2 kernels with ipchains
to a 2.4 kernel using iptables? Cause I don't even think the bridging
patch it refers to will apply to a 2.4 kernel as over half the files it
patches are no longer applicable... Guess this might be a time to get down
and personal with the kernel and see if the principle of the patch is either
been work'd into netfilter/iptables or if not can it be applied easy enuf?

	Respectfully,
	Jeremy T. Bouse
