I am much better at scepticism than praise, but really want the positive
arguments too. :-)

Same way as Debian-edu profiles (and those of other Pure Blends as they
emerge): By getting adopted properly by the official debian-installer
to display in official Debian releases.
I do not know how to do it more specifically. I expect it to be a slow
moving and complex thing to do right. A thing that few people might be
able to do right - people like Joey Hess.
Or did I misunderstand the question?
