Could you please try to do a
sudo aptitude purge cdd-common
between these steps. In principle it should not matter whether
cdd-common is installed or not but I'm afraid that some broken
Installation of cdd-common causes some problem on you machine.
Setting up education-astronomy (0.825) ...
err 67: Custom distribution education does not exist
dpkg: error processing education-astronomy (--configure):
Are there any files hanging around in
/etc/cdd/education
on your machine?
$ dpkg -l | grep cdd-
ii cdd-common 0.4.6 Custom Debian Distributions common package
~$ dpkg -l | grep education-
iF education-astronomy 0.825 DebianEdu astronomy related applications
ii education-tasks 0.825 Debian Edu tasks for tasksel
This looks really strange because this erfectly works on my side.
Please do not hesitated to report problems until we are
really sure that everything works as expected.
Kind regards and thanks for your input
Andreas.
