i recall that we had a couple of RC bugs that we were working to
close. one had to do with the automatic partitioning creating
unbootable partition tables, WLUS' usability was considered
release critical, too (but not one of the final stoppers). The
release was not error free but good enough (regarding the show
stopper bugs). I recall mails being sent out listing the
remaining RC bugs, even and enquiring about their status.

As far as i know there were only two officially stable releases:
the first one and a follow up release r1, which fixed the german
localisation problem.

We recommend to try the sarge images for the ones that think
fendora or gentoo make the better thin client servers because
they are more colorfull or have newer software or are easier to
upgrade later on.
