I don't know if this reference points to the latest documentation
policy. Would someone please update the web site to use the
latest version and close 251205?

This manual is quite outdated and there is an effort to fix it in
<email debian-doc@lists.debian.org>.
It would be better to have a link to the discussion ([1]?) than an
<email ...> tag.
