Sure, the package as its prepared now, would not be a good candidate,
and especially since it was prepared after the freeze.  However, if
the work had been started far earlier, someone could have helped guide
the work in a direction that would have been suitable.

It may not have include changes interesting to you, but there was
certainly interest to others in the hurd improvements, and I think we
should really try to be accommodating to hurd porters as much as
possible.
