What happens to snapshot.debian.net?

Hello,

I am trying to get ridge on the problem with lvm2. Therefore I have to
get some old packages from snapshot.debian.net. Unfortunately it seems
to be broken for some time now. I tried to contact the maintainer
(ukai@debian.org) but got no answer.

If I use:
 deb-src http://snapshot.debian.net/archive pool lvm2

... in my sources.list I get the error:
 W: Failed to fetch http://snapshot.debian.net/archive/dists/pool/lvm2/source/Sources  404 Not Found

It is also broken with other packages. These lines worked well long time
but now all references to snapshot are broken.
