I think you should care about upsetting people, and so should others. When you
work for an organisation like Debian, the community is the most valuable asset
it has going for it. Rude and abrasive characters who contribute a lot of code,
but who upset the community, waste time by drawing fire or starting flame wars,
or scare away new contributers do not deserve to be excused for such behaviour.
