1:1.0.6-11 is still available in unstable, and that bug is present in
1:1.0.6-11. See the header on that page:

"Bugs in package texmacs (versions 1:1.0.6-11, 1:1.0.6.11-2+b1,
1:1.0.6.11-1, 1:1.0.6.11-2) in unstable"

[There is some argument that I should completely ignore hurd-i386 by
default since it isn't keeping up *at all* but I haven't made that
change yet.]
