IANADD, but here's my comment.
I think that debian/changelog should reflect only Debian uploads. As you
already stated, it's completely useless to have those entries there. There's no
new information we're giving to users. And, even if there's something more than
"the latest snapshot", but no upload into Debian for it, I'd shrink everything
to a single entry.
