Which mean YOU HAVE two different kernels installed.

I had the problem where I have had ONLY the stock Debian-Kernel
and after an upgrade the new revision of the kernel was not more
working on my Mainboard and there was NO FALLBACK, since the
upgrade Kernel replaced the previosly one.
