Then porter-NMU the package. Done correctly, this forces the maintainer to
either
*) override the patch again. -> tech-ctte (which should be trusted or enhanced
to not be influenced by non-releasable vs releasable, but only by the
technical merits of the patch)
*) accept the patch -> patched
*) run and hide -> still patched
