Package: openoffice.org
Version: 1.1.2dfsg1-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

hi,

openoffice.org has been kept back and is uninstallable on powerpc for quite
some time now.
Trying to install openoffice.org on ppc yields:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  openoffice.org: Depends: openoffice.org-debian-files (> 1.1.2+1.1.3) but 1.1.2-5+1 is to be installed
Depends: openoffice.org-bin (> 1.1.2+1.1.3) but 1.1.2dfsg1-3 is to be installed

regards,
Georg Kaindl

Georg,

As Rene says, "welcome to sid". The current archive semantics do not ensure
that packages in unstable will always be installable, and not all causes for
uninstallability are grave bugs (or package bugs at all). In this case, the
uninstallability is a self-correcting problem that is waiting only on the
autobuilders to take care of this package.
