Yes I did, but that doesn't place/install it into the proper places --
what(where)ever they may be.  I could have just as easily download the
source from postgressql website and installed it into /usr/local ...
thereby by-passing the Debian stuff.

I want what Debian has AND how Debian has it =)   NOW!   j/k  :-)  OK,
Imma 41 year old child still.   LOL.  :-)
