No, but how usefull something is user specific.

No, but this also the case with other stuff. As already said, what
someone considers usefull, might not be usefull to others.

As long as it is according to the DFSG and someone maintains is, it
should be ok. If nobody uses, it will die (natural selection).

That's your personal opinion. Although everyone can have his/her
opinion, nobody should judge what is good for others. Of course, this
is also my opinion;-)
