Yes, the « Académie française ». I believe the people sitting there are
the ones responsible for a few silly words such as « mél », which is
supposed to mean « e-mail », the idea being that if you manage to
prounounce the english « mail » word bad enough, you might approach the
pronunciation of « mél ». I mean, if you try hard.
