-dbg only package?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I'm looking for advise on the policy of releasing only a -dbg package or a
package with all the debug info not stripped from it.

Ideally, I'd like to release the package with it's normal name and not strip
the debug info from it and once it because more stable, build the traditional
package and package-dbg.

The problem is lintian complains if I do not strip the binaries and I don't
know if the build system will allow this package through.

Comments?

Thank you.
