Well -- believe it or not -- there are things I enjoy more than being a
license janitor, too.

It's miserable but necessary work.  It seems like there is no divergence
of opinion here, just the lack of a bulldog to ensure it's regarded as
release-critical (for X.Org/freedesktop.org).
