Macs only run 2.2. Having not done 2.4 porting for so long the Mac
people decided to skip right ahead to 2.6. Its unclear if there will
be a 2.4 for macs ever.

As for amiga and atrai and other m68k boards they tend to run 2.4 but
people with near identical hardware have reported different
results. Some hardware just doesn't seem to like 2.4 kernels while
others just do. Could be something like the minor revision of a chip
used on the motherboard that trips it.

No jensen or similar special kernel? I thought there where one or two
flavours left not able to run generic.
