Description : quat: a 3D quaternionic fractal generator
Quat draws 3D "slices" from 4-dimensional quatern fractals. These are
different from what are normally called "three-dimensional" fractals,
which are merely a reinterpretation of two-dimensional data. Quat has
many parameters for coloring, drawing functions, defining intersection
planes, and more.
It can work in both the console and with X. The console version will
save the fractal to a PNG file, and the X version will also display on
screen a version (typically of worse quality) of the image being drawn
to the PNG file.
