Package: wnpp
Version: N/A; reported 2002-10-23
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : w3c-html-validator
  Version : 0.6.0b1 (beta version, in CVS)
  Upstream Author : W3C Validator Team <www-validator@w3.org>

* License : W3C Software Copyright, GPL Compatible
  Description     : W3C HTML Validator

 This is a CGI script which lets you enter the URL of a web page which
 will be then checked against a validating SGML parser for conformance to
 official HTML standards. Pages can also be uploaded and a link checker is
 also included.
 .
 These are the same scripts that are available on the well known W3C web
 site, http://validator.w3.org.

 [description largely inspired by the one for the wdg-html-validator
  package]

 Note that I am not a Debian developer, so if anyone is already interested
 in sponsoring the package, let me know.
