The changelog told you that it's a new upstream version and that it
closes a particular bug. What other information are you looking for
exactly? If you want to know exactly what's in the new upstream version,
read THAT changelog.

If you insist on reviewing the changes in every package you update,
wouldn't you be more comfortable installing everything from source?
