Subversion - the followup project to CVS

The February issue of Linux Journal has an article on the Subversion
system, a redesigned CVS implemented by the most recent CVS
maintainers.  (I wish they wouldn't have called it subversion - can
you imagine doing a google search on "subversion"?).

The home page is http://subversion.tigris.org/

I can't find any traces of it on the Debian sites, which seems
unusual.  Has anyone looked at packaging it?  It's already at version
0.8 and they expect to hit 1.0 in September, 2002.
