All the developers are volunteers. If you feel something is that
important do it yourself, i.e. make a fixed package. Just don't try to
tell other people their priorities are wrong.

As far as removing ssh-nonfree from stable, it is too late for 2.2r4.
I'm not sure how you go about formally requesting a package be removed
from the distro.
