you're still failing to explain this point adequately.
what, exactly, is the difference between kernel-headers-2.4.2 and:
kernel-headers-2.4.2-386
kernel-headers-2.4.2-586
kernel-headers-2.4.2-586tsc
kernel-headers-2.4.2-686-smp
kernel-headers-2.4.2-686
kernel-headers-2.4.2-k6
kernel-headers-2.4.2-k7
kernel-headers-2.4.2-pentium4
kernel-headers-2.4.2-pentiumiii
kernel-headers-2.4.2-pentiumiii-smp
?
it's only one kernel, one source tree...so where do all these different
header files come from? what's the point of them? what do they provide
that just plain kernel-headers-2.4.2 doesn't provide?
