  I'd like to point out that CompGeeks.com has an older IBM /hardware/ scsi
fast/wide, three channel, raid controler for $80 right now.  It's supported
under Linux.  By IBM no less.  They are used, but I don't think the PPC 403
noro the Adaptec controlers(3) are any worse for ware.
