During initial installation, devices are created; it's probebly a good idea
to create /dev/sg* then. The /dev/md* are created then why not /dev/sg*?

IMHO
I doubt that woody will use this feature. 2.3.x works fine
with out it, it's very un-unix, almost god forbid NT like.
The idea behind it is valid, just odd to me.

Does anyone have an idea if devfs is one of the woody release goals?
It's pretty groovy concept, just a departure, from old school Unix, and
will break lots and lots of things.
