console-data is broken

Every time console-data is updated I have to restore the correct
keymap with kbdconfig from a remote machine since it always installs a
broken keymap in /etc/console-tools. This is a grave bug!

Bug report #55827, which seems to cover the problem, is listed in the
section "fixed bugs - outstanding". Why has this bug been marked as
fixed?

Can someone please reopen bug report #55827?!
