Considering the state of dupload, and the fact that an upload is
simply FTPing the files to the proper place, I'd say yes.  The only
thing that dupload claims to do and that has some utility is it
attempts to guarantee that the files are uploaded once and only once.

I see no reason to perform the uploads yourself.
