Re: library staticly linked even though compiled w/-lc?
Karl, that is libtool biting you in the rump. Do the following:
libtoolize --copy --force
aclocal
automake
autoconf
Then go on your merry way (-: Jim PIck and I had the same problem w/
GNOME and Imlib.
