I personnaly prefer vrml-browser as virtual name but, as I previously
said, w3 (or is it xemacs?) already ask for vrml. vrml stands for Virtual
Reality Modeling Language and are an sgml like language to create
3D-environment. The extension is wrl and the MIME type is x-world/x-vrml.

Although I prefered vrml-browser (such as www-browser), vrml are already
use by the w3 package (at least those of 1.1.4, I didn't check for most
recent) I'm not good in english but I think

vrml - Enable you to browse wrl file on the World Wide Web.

is good.

NB: wrl file are often big and found compressed in wrl.gz format. vrml
browser normally are able to decompressed on the fly those files. More
explanation in the help files that I will upload when I got my account.

Ciao!
