If an a.out compat package is built, the shared libs should go in
/usr/X11R6/lib/i486-linuxaout (where the other a.out compat. libs are)
or /usr/i486-linuxaout/lib. I don't see much point in supporting a.out
development but if you did, you would have to choose a non-conflicting
place for the header files.
