I object to this highly questionable degration of free content in the
Debian archive. If a bottle of Coca Cola were shown this wouldn't
render the whole content non-free, either.

debian-legal is not in any kind a body, which is legitimated to judge
freedom issues in Debian. Quite the contrary; past history has shown
that the people discussing on this list do not represent the views of
the project at large. The only definitive body ruling on licensing
issues in Debian are the FTP masters, so you should contact them before
making such unfounded, nonsense decisisions!
