MiniDebConf Venezuela 2007

Debian Venezuela is pleased to announce the Second Venezuelan
MiniDebConf, once again at the venues of the 5th World Forum on Free
Knowledge, to be held between November 21st. and 23rd., 2007 in the city
of Puerto Ordaz (Bolivar) in Venezuela.

Everyone is invited to participate in the round table to be held on the
morning of Friday 23rd., at the Community Room (Room 4) in Hotel
Intercontinental, where the team will address questions from the public
regarding Debian, how to be involved with the Project as well as common
issues such as legal status, infrastructure and projects for 2008.

This year both the World Forum and the MiniDebConf are proud to announce
the participation of Debian Developer Aníbal Monsalve Salazar and
several keynote speakers from Argentina, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico and
Colombia.

Bug squashing parties and development parties will take place at the
hacklabs in the event, and they will also be held at the #debian-ve IRC
channel on irc.debian.org. Filmed events will be published at the Debian
Venezuela homepage, www.debian.org.ve.

As usual, GPG key signing and CACert assurances will be held at the
event, so don't forget your passport at home and stay in touch with the
announcements on the IRC channel.

About Debian Venezuela: Debian Venezuela is a non-profit group of
Venezuelan people interested in Debian development. The group was

Developers, eleven (11) package maintainers, five (5) people in the NM
