So what else is planned for the 2.0 release? I saw the dynamic DNS that was mentioned, looks pretty cool, anything else? > Perhaps you could start collecting the data? I think it about 9600 baud (ouch!) but, instant connection time, no carrier negotiation. > >COLT ROMP: > 0171 664 0666 > >Energis ROMP: > 0113 298 9666 01386 669666 0151 210 9666 01746 659666 > 0114 238 9666 01422 509666 01524 459666 01749 909666 > 0115 954 9666 01423 309666 01526 659666 01765 509666 > 0116 290 9666 01434 209666 01539 479666 01768 339666 > 0117 981 9666 01434 669666 01543 659666 01772 489666 > 0118 928 9666 01443 389666 01572 809666 01874 549666 > 01203 289666 01451 659666 01582 649666 01886 659666 > 0121 275 9666 01452 359666 01600 559666 01900 559666 > 01222 279666 01454 659666 0161 385 9666 01902 469666 > 01228 509666 01458 289666 01629 509666 0191 247 9666 > 01260 509666 01462 289666 01636 699666 0191 350 9666 > 01278 509666 01469 469666 01669 889666 01928 559666 > 01289 509666 01488 559666 01724 889666 01933 709666 > 01302 609666 01491 509666 01729 909666 01937 909666 > 01327 659666 01507 409666 > >COLT ROMP: Analogue +44 171 664 0666 > ISDN +44 171 664 0667 > >Energis ROMP: Analogue +44 121 275 9666 > ISDN +44 121 275 9667 What would be the best way of showing them to the user and asking them to select one? Some are local numbers some are nationwide numbers charged at a local rate. They except PAP and scripted logins. PPP and SLIP are supported. Other information avaliable is DNS IP addresses (primary and secondary), addresses for the smtp smarthost, pop3 server, news server, irc servers, and ntp servers. There are status reports avaliable via finger (3 types depending on name fingered). Announce mailing list address, important web address like web mail and password changing access. Some of this information is clearly nothing to do with pppconfig. But, it would be a shame it if were not avaliable. Again just random thoughts. -- I consume, therefore I am
