Re: Packaging _still_ wasteful for many large packages

So what would people suggest regarding packages that are already highly
split?

e.g., koffice which provides koffice-libs, koffice-data (the
arch-specific and arch-independent material that is common to all
koffice apps), as well as more binary packages for individual koffice
applications (kword, kspread, kpresenter, etc)? In this case some of
the individual apps also have a lot of arch-independent data. Would you
suggest splitting koffice further into kword, kword-data, kpresenter,
kpresenter-data, etc?

(I don't want to move all of this app-specific data into koffice-data
because of the hit this puts on non-KDE users who only want one or two
koffice apps).

Ben.
