Stormix Releases Storm LinuxTM 2000 Deluxe Edition
New flagship product continues tradition of excellence

Vancouver, British Columbia-- Stormix Technologies Inc., the Linux for
NetworksTM company, today announced the launch of Storm Linux 2000
Deluxe Edition.

This new addition to the Stormix product line is designed to satisfy
the needs of customers who want a robust Linux system and the

built around Debian GNU/Linux 2.2 "potato" release, the most stable
and secure distribution available, and enhanced with a choice
selection of third party applications to boost productivity and
enhance the computing experience.

"We have sought out partners who specialize in developing the most
popular Linux applications. In addition to Sun® StarOfficeTM 5.2 and
Netscape® Communicator 4.73, we have included a one year license of
StarNet Communications X-Win32, an application that allows for ease of
conversion from a Windows to a Linux environment, Adobe® Acrobat
Reader 4.05, and Macromedia Flash Player 4.0. And for the game
enthusiasts, we have included Loki's turn-based fantasy game port, a
limited edition of 3DO's Heroes of Might and Magic III," said David
Talmor, founder and CEO of Stormix Technologies.

People who are curious about Linux as an alternative to Windows® will
be impressed by the comprehensive selection of applications, utilities
and packages in Storm Linux 2000 Deluxe Edition. SAS - Storm
Administration System 2.0 is a suite of utilities designed to make it
easy for the new Linux user to administer their system. Its graphical
user interface has the unique ability to work over a network. In
addition, the Storm Package Manager, is a graphical user interface for
automatically configuring, installing, and updating Debian software
packages.

"The market is producing a more discriminating customer, one that
demands more functionality and stability in an operating system. This
is the distribution for them," said Talmor.

The retail box includes 5 CD's containing over 4000 Debian packages,
as well as 60-day phone and 90-day email installation support. Visit
