记得Danai SAE-HAN (韓達耐)曾经说已经把debiandoc-sgml改成支持zh_CN.UTF-8 的了，我搜索lists.debian.org没找到，现在怎么样了？I totally agree: GB2312 should be sent to /dev/null. I've just now completed zh_CN.UTF-8 support locally. If all goes well, the next release of debiandoc-sgml and debian-reference will contain my patches with zh_CN.UTF-8 (and perhaps zh_TW.UTF-8 and ja_JP.UTF-8 as well). Cheers!
Is your patch now available? (You can send to me, or present a URL) I think the new version of zh_CN release note should be encoded UTF-8.
