提議給 Debian 定¤@個官方的中文名字
為的是是宣傳方便, 好念好聽好記.
其他一些 distro 的名稱是有較為明確的涵義的, 比如:
RedHat -- 紅帽
Mandrake -- 曼德拉草
Slackware -- 散件?
而 Debian 一詞本來就是生造出來的,
當新手看到 Debian 時都會問: 這個名字是什麼意思啊?
甚至有不友好的人士索性稱之為 "Da Bian".
按照音譯, 我覺得 "德比安" 比較合適, 至少聽一來很響亮.
不知大家以為如何? 或許還有更好的建議.
BTW: 剛才用 Google 搜了一下, 找到一個含有 "德比安" 的鏈接
(http://blue.lins.fju.edu.tw/~mao/foi.htm ,和 Debian 有關),
才明白這個名字並非我的獨創..
