Apologies if you didn't want me to email you directly as well as via bugs.

dmesg output attached from boot with drm.debug=6 (but no video=1024x768@75) as kernel parameter.
I guess the lines from [ 8.107256] to [ 8.251439] will interest you most -
the Modeline 32:"1792x1344" 75 261000 1792 1888 2104 2456 1344 1345 1348 1417 0x40 0x6
looks crazy to me - I've never driven the monitor like that (or not voluntarily and successfully!).

Note that the lines from [ 27.462712] to the end are, I think, setting the video up for X -
- this boot was done with my custom xorg.conf in place (see bug report) - X ends up in 1600x1200, I think using
the Modeline 10:"1600x1200" 75 202500 1600 1664 1856 2160 1200 1201 1204 1250 0x40 0x5 (= 93.8 kHz e)
not Modeline 13:"1600x1200" 85 229500 1600 1664 1856 2160 1200 1201 1204 1250 0x40 0x5 (=106.2 kHz e)

Hope that helps - let me know if you need anything more.

Barry
