Bug#581803: installer task selection behaves gracelessly

Package: debian-installer
Version: 20100211
Severity: minor

When using the debian squeeze installer, the last step before packages are installed is task selection.

The interface from the preceding steps leads one to suspect that clicking "Enter" will either bring up a dialogue giving information, or will toggle that task. However, pressing "Enter" causes task selection to finish, installing whatever was selected without further question.

I consider this behaviour to be not optimal, since then it requires effort and understanding to undo/correct the effects of a single reasonable keypress.

One straightforward solution would be to bring up a dialogue box asking the user to confirm the final choices, before package installation begins.

Another less straightforward solution would be to rethink the effects of the Enter key at this stage.
