This is caused by a change in recent kernels where vendor-specific support 
required for some keyboards was split out of the general hid module. We 
had not yet added these modules for the installer.

These additional modules are now scheduled to be included when we switch to 
the 2.6.32 kernel for the installer, but that will take some time.

Unfortunately this means that until then keyboards that are not standards- 
compliant will not be supported in the installer.
