I got errors with aptitude and apt get-install the packages are downloaded, extracted well, but can`t install! (running out of disk space) I`m unable to install any *.pkg(I deleted the old kernel version directories manually, also checked /var/log and /temp)Now everithing is o.k. ! My hint: Give more space in part /root during the automated installation. kindly regards debian_lenny_user

reassign 528914 partman-auto retitle 528914 Should leave enough space for two kernel flavours in the root partition thanks Quoting Stephan Hilliger (shilliger@arcor.de): > My hint: > Give more space in part /root during the automated installation. Well, that space was enough to install the system. The problem you ran into is that it wasn't enough to install an additionnal kernel (and modules). I'm not sure that we should always enfore the root partition to have enough space for *two* kernel flavours. Others, advices?Attachment: signature.asc
