It is nice to have your support on that. Please take a look in
Giuseppe patches and see if you can spot any missing stuff.
Specifically about parted, the easiest way to get it merged is start a
thread on the parted-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org mailing list and
attach your proposed patch.
Please note that for parted we use GIT as SCM and you should base your
work on master branch.
We can get it furter once you've sent your mail to the mailing list
and we start the review process there.
