Given redundancies with console-common, console-tools and kbd, I'm wondering if perhaps making
console-setup (and console-setup-mini) depend upon console-data (for the keyboard maps and fonts)
and conflict with console-common, console-tools and kbd might be the solution? The idea would be
to completely replace those 3 packages for setting up the fonts and keyboard on the console.

Hi!

About half and an year ago you reported this bug. I suppose I can close
it now because it is no more necessary to install console-setup together
with console-data and the user can choose. On the other hand
console-setup will always depend on kbd or console-tools.
