Package: debian-installer Severity: wishlist For ADSL users it would be a great idear to add PPPOE suport. I already saw standard PPP internet connections ( over std dialing lines ), but I really think i would be easy to add the possibility to use ADSL using ethernet modems ( or PCI ) . USB modems suport is perhaps more difficult. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.25 Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB

Support for PPPoE is now provided by the ppp-udeb components since Etch. Installation instructions can be found at: http://www.debian.org/releases/etch/i386/apds05.html.en Therefore closing these reports.Attachment: signature.asc
