How about something like this?

By choosing 'normal', the installed system will installed as a regular
system while choosing 'live', the system will continue to act as a live
system with the only difference that it is directly launched from the
harddisk instead of an external/another/boot/$whatever medium.
(the 'external/another/boot/$whatever' is not ment literally, don't know
which one is the best to choose).
