Description:
As you know, "NexentaOS is a complete GNU-based open source operating
system built on top of the OpenSolaris kernel and runtime". It's based
on Debian project and they want to collaborate with you.
You are developing GNU operating systems based on FreeBSD, NetBSD and
HURD kernels. This projects are more alien for Debian team than
NexentaOS. Why haven't you already included developments of Nexenta
team into Debian project?

Filing a bug report for this is completely the wrong approach, especially
when you start with such an accusing tone (although that may just be
because English is not your native language).

The package you have filed this bug against is part of the Debian
Installer. Before any support in the installer could be considered, a lot
of other porting work would need to be done first.

If Nexenta people want to have Nexenta in Debian, then it is basically up
to you to convince people of the benefits AND probably to do most of the
work involved.

I suggest you contact the debian-devel mailing list to discuss if there is
any interest in supporting Nexenta. I also suggest you use a different
tone in your mails.

Closing this bug report as this is really completely the wrong place for
your suggestion.

Cheers,
FJP
